Lippy love

Those of you who know me, know that I’m a big lippy fan so I was so stoked to be invited to Tiger & Taupe’s first birthday party. Tiger & Taupe are an Australian owned, vegan friendly, cruelty free brand. I love supporting Australian cosmetics that are animal friendly so I was super excited to attend their party and test out some of their products.

The party was held at Ms Collins in Melbourne. Emily Bass, Founder and CEO of Tiger & Taupe did a great job decorating the venue and welcomed us on arrival with a little personalised gift bag filled with all a girl needs; lip balm, tea, protein balls, nuts and some makeup wipes. We also got to open a custom balloon gift from one of their major sponsors, the Hey Day Club.

The event was so much fun! It was great getting to know Emily and how she started the brand. We also got to try a selection of lipsticks at their makeup stand to spice up our outfit! Now this was my kind of party.

Being a huge lippy fan myself, I was super impressed with the moisturising nature of the product. Many long lasting lipsticks dry out your lips and it feels like you’ve walked through an Arabian dessert after wearing it for 10 minutes, but Tiger & Taupe’s lipsticks were a delight to wear - and never left an imprint no my champagne glass! Another great practical and satisfying perk - and was one of the main reasons why I bought all my friends a lipstick for Christmas. I legit felt like Oprah, “You get a lipstick, you get a lipstick, you get a lipstick, EVERYONE GETS A LIPSTICK!”

Thanks Tiger & Taupe, can’t wait for birthday 2.0!
